BusinessInterviews.com: What’s the most exciting thing on the horizon for you/your Company?
Bryan Miles: Two things: 1) we are in the midst of making all of our service lines in BELAY … industry/vertical agnostic. We service over 30 industries with our services … and we want to make sure the client experience is consistent regardless of industry you operate within. We have a very large client experience mapping process we are just getting underway with to enhance our client experience. I am very excited about this. 2) I am writing a book, coming out later in 2017 … on the topic of “Creating a Virtual Culture.” Many of our clients and prospects have watched us grow from start-up to over 550 people on payroll and ask us how we developed our culture to keep pace … all working from home … and we have created virtual culture best practices that I am excited to share in this book along with some really cool stories.
BusinessInterviews.com: Where do you envision your company in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years?
Bryan Miles: I see BELAY as the leader in providing agile, meaningful virtual workforces (made of great, talented people) with a global footprint … that leaves the Industrial Age in the dust. I see more & more workers leaving traditional “full-time” and “part-time” work in an office so they can have greater autonomy over their schedule, income, and career. No longer do people have to work in an office cubicle – those days are rapidly coming to an end … and we will help lead this virtual workplace revolution.
BusinessInterviews.com: Have you had any mentors or role models that have influenced you? Describe the impact.
Bryan Miles: Yes, several. I look for mentors on a consistent basis … and I work hard to get in their damage path. Most great leaders are proactively looking for ways to mentor … so, I need to jump in their path, ask them if they are willing to mentor me for a season, then create a plan to do so. Their impact in my personal life and business are literally immeasurable. And, it is naive and foolish for me to assume that I have all the answers. Additionally, I like the way my mentors appropriately challenge me.
